Welcome everybody to the Chasing Daylight Podcast. My name is Matthew Wainwright. I am here with my co-host Ryan Hardenbrook. Well, actually, Ryan is actually in Salt Lake City right now. How’s it going, Ryan?
Doing doing well. There’s still snow in the mountains. It’s gorgeous. Uh I drove up uh really fast to get here, so that’s always fun. It’s liberating. And I didn’t get a ticket, which always makes me even more feel feel better and more safe.
We we have hit our first milestone. We are recording episode 10 tonight.
Huge milestone. We do have something special. I’m gonna be on the phone with us is the man behind the madness of one of the hottest Instagram accounts in the golf community. Actually, probably just in general. Um Travis from PGA Memes. How you doing, buddy?
Doing great, man. Thanks for having me, guys.
No problem. We really appreciate you coming on.
Actually, more more thank you for bringing such great brevity and joy to my weekly life. I mean, I feel like I don’t know how to do life without this amazing service that’s being provided.
Hey man, if I could just reach one person’s left to you, thank you. Hey, honor to be here on the 10th show too. Congrats, you guys.
Hey, thank you very much. Thank you very much. We’re uh we’re getting there. Um had a couple guests on, and and when I reached out and you said you were love to be on, I was kind of like blown away. Like, yes, we’re making it. We’ve got PGA memes. No, dude, your your memes are by far the best on Instagram. Uh you know, if flattery comes, you know, from people imitating you, and it happens so often. But my first question to you is Is it all you or is it secretly, you know, uh a family member, uh, a brother, a cousin, or is it all you that’s coming up with everything?
It’s it’s really all me. I mean, obviously as it’s grown, um, there’s been so many other things that have emerged in the golf space, which is exciting to see because really when I started it, there’s this weight, right? That I was like, man, I think I could fill this, I think it’d be fun, and just kind of went with it. But yeah, for the most part, I’d say that you know, 90-95% of all the content I put out is original through me. Um, I’ve got some pages that I just love that I work with sometimes to create content and I’ll repost some of the stuff that they put out there, or you know, I just find another post really funny that I’ll repost uh that I think I can help boost and get more engagement with my platform and help them grow their page. And so I don’t know, it’s fun, but yeah, the madness really is up here between these ears and it’s kind of scary, I guess, with some of the crap I come up with.
So have you have you been what have you been like impress do you impress your yourself? Are you are you blown away with ha what’s that what happened? Because the the account just blew up and has a massive following now. Were were you taken back by that or were you like, yeah, I I deserve this?
You know, I don’t I I don’t know. That’s a it’s an interesting question because I I’ve when I started it it wasn’t I didn’t have any goals with it and didn’t expect anything. I just uh I just said hey there’s this window and the username was available, which was shocked me because I I got in this thing where um I was checking usernames for different um you know industries or different pages to do some fun stuff and so I I check into some stuff and I just was amazed how Instagram had so many usernames that were just awesome that you couldn’t get your hands on. And there are people who have inactive accounts since like 2013 or 2014. It’s annoying. And and and I typed in PGA memes because I I love memes. I’ll sit there and look at memes from different pages that are unrelated to golf and just it’s just fun to see how like they relate to you and your life and what’s going on. And I just kind of sat there and like, you know, there’s really nothing with golf right now. There’s a lot of pages that just repost stuff. Um, there’s a lot of informational stuff to learn how to get better at golf or learn about what’s going on in the tour. But there’s really not much parody pages that are original and that are in memes. You know, you got these viral videos of guys doing stupid stuff with golf carts and whatever, you know, drinking and partying on the course. But I just saw that window and it was available and I was like, holy cow, and so I just went with it.
Awesome. Well, I’ll tell you the the other thing, I I guess one of the what I find most fascinating isn’t the memes themselves, it’s the captions. Your captions are ethics. And and I think that for like it’s funny because when I see them, I I almost I almost never the captions in the comments are what I think are most funny. And especially when you get like you have memory comments on some stuff, and then there’ll there’ll be like this like string of like you know, 20 awesome comments from between you, him, and some other people that chime in. It’s glorious. I it created a really I think a really interesting community, you know.
Well it’s yeah, it’s it’s it’s great that you say that because that’s one thing that I always just loved about like you go like fat Jewish, like it’s it’s not really memes anymore. It seems like some of those guys are just like Twitter posts and stuff, but his captions were always was so funny, you know. It was like the post itself was great, but the caption really made it. And so I always try to put a little bit more into that. That’s the hardest part. I mean, sometimes making the memes, they kind of write themselves, but the captions like, alright, you can go in so many different directions, but really like I mean, the the Kevin Durant meme where you’re like you’re the real MVP or whatever, you know, and he’s crying, but like that’s like my followers, man. They come up with some of the most creative comments. And I I take note, like I’ll seriously just die over some of the stuff they write and take note and use it later on and some of the content that I’ll use and create, um, whether it be in the meme itself or in the caption, but it’s crazy how many like-minded, minded some people are out there with what direction they go and stuff, and so I’ll I get inspired by them a lot all the time too.
So what at what point did you go, wow, I’m on to something? What what was it?
Uh it was the masters uh in 2018. I honestly when I started the page, my mindset wasn’t really creating original content. I was thinking, like, you know, I look at all these other meme pages that are big, uh, even outside of golf, and they’re just reposting a lot of people’s stuff. You know, you don’t have to really spend and invest a lot of time in creating content. You can just repost stuff and the page will just grow. And I kind of did that for the first couple months because I started the page in January, and it just, you know, it was growing. Don’t get me wrong, I got like a couple thousand followers, and you know, I’m tight, I’m tight in the golf community with some influencers, so they were helpful with boosting the page, but it really wasn’t like fulfilling, and it was just kind of blah. And just hit I I created a few that were real and funny, and they just went viral. And I just realized like people liked my sense of humor, they liked what I was putting out there, and they hadn’t seen already. And so I was like, man, that’s what I need to do. And you know, when I started putting my mind to it and just allotting some time aside to make that happen, I realized it really wasn’t that crazy and just went to town with it and the page just absolutely blew up. I I got to you know, two to three thousand followers to twenty-five thousand followers really quickly, and you know, once I got to that level, it just it just continued to snowball and it’s fun to see something grow organically. Like I’ve never paid for a shout out, I’ve never paid for followers or anything like that. It’s just been an or organic thing to see, and it’s just been really fun.
Well, so it’s it’s funny too, because I think of like, you know, with something when it is organic, it it’s fun to talk to, it’s probably fun for you to get to talk to people that enjoy it and to hear when when it hit them, like when they started really getting interested in it. Because everybody’s gonna have a different, you know, um a different point for that. For me, it was it was definitely the smiley cops with stuff. Like it was like the fifth or sixth one, and I was like, this is it, it wasn’t but like not like what I do like about a lot of it, it’s not I don’t find almost any of it offensive, which is great. And I think that’s a big part of your success personally, is that it’s it’s it’s adult, yes, but none of it’s offensive, right? Um, but it was when it was happening, I was like, this this is like the new era of trolling. Like this is it’s it’s what I always wanted trolling to be. And a lot of people think trolling is turning into something really negative. But but you know, if you can’t laugh at yourself, you know, or laugh at what’s going on, or or laugh at each other, then it’s the point, right? That’s the whole point for me of social media and that community. So I I it was like the fifth or sixth one. In fact, actually, I’ll tell you this one it was. He did one, uh, I try what it was. It was the one on the uh when they were in the boat. They were crashing in the boat. Um Jordan.
Well that one was Jordan started beginning a slump, and I think I wrote something like he was smiley was wearing off on him or something.
That’s exactly what it was. Oh, this is uh follow-up.
Here’s the thing, and like going looking back now on a year and a half or so into this, uh like, yeah, there’s been a couple that I’ve probab gone to earth um on the specific post or the the the frequency of some posts or something. But for the most part, it’s kind of just fair game. Like follow a lot of like NBA pages, um, NFL pages. There’s less engagement in those spaces because the players don’t really interact with people on social media. Matter of fact, they probably have a lot of people who run those pages for them.
You you really only have you only have like one or two people in the golf space that that are at that level, burn Phil. Like where you know, everyone else is actually like logging into their phone and looking at their feeds, because listen, like you you go to a restaurant, you know, and get a steak somewhere, like Jordan Speeds could be in that restaurant, and there’s probably not a people who will even recognize him, you know. Like, and he’s obviously a big name, and like people like us would certainly recognize him and none of their golfers, but the the the greater good probably wouldn’t. And so what you’re finding, and then you got a lot of snowflakes and sensitive people in the golf space compared to other other sports, and so it was edgy, and I think that’s kind of what people liked.
It kind of perked them up, and they’re like, Whoa, this guy’s going at players playing bad or doing something goofy or acting like a child or and it was kind of like these are things that maybe we’ve all thought, or we’ve all that’s exactly what it er everybody has thought them, and everybody when when they see some of the stuff you put out there, they’re like, Yes. Exactly.
Yeah, oh totally. And I I actually really like Smiley. Like I’ve I’ve actually met Smiley once and he doesn’t even know that, but I’ve met him once before I started the page, and he’s awesome, dude. I think he’s great. Um he’s obviously a super talented golfer, he’s just going through some some tough stuff, and you know, I think he’ll I think he’ll make it back out there and and hopefully winning again, but like he was playing bad. And you know, unfortunately he was in the spotlight with the whole thing that you know the spring break stuff and stuff, so he was kind of an easier target than some of the other guys who were maybe struggling on tour. And you know, it it sucks because it wasn’t trying to, hey, I’m gonna build this off Smiley’s back or anything, but it’s just like I’m gonna start doing stuff based off that play on some of these guys, and I’ve done it for others. But unfortunately, some of those or fortunately some of those other guys have gotten off of their slump and they’ve started playing better. And you know, you see that in other sports, and believe me, like you go follow other NFL or NBA pages, like they’re all over players who struggle, you know.
I don’t think that’s part of it, but I think the other part of it is that he looks like every everyone that I know eight-year-old nephew. He’s like a an adult version of all of our he can’t grow a beer. I mean, he’s a prime target. And and he’s he’s so affable. You know, you just you you like him, you know. You and I think that’s part of it too, is you when you have someone, you know, I think in the golf community, I think the other thing that that’s a piece of this too is that people will, you know, yes, they’ll think it’s funny, but I think people will also support those players, you know, and and and kind of go, oh man, you know, it’s it’s uh it’s sad, and so I’m kind of almost, you know, enjoying this, but at the same time I’m I’m rooting for him now, you know what I mean, kind of thing. No, for sure. If you ever win the tournament, like you like the world will explode. I can’t imagine.
You know. Oh, I mean, listen, like when he plays and he plays bad, I get thousands of DMs of his scorecard, and they want me to say something. And I I’m like not burying the guy anymore. Like, I’m trying to keep it far and in between with what I do. But like, you know, rewind back to the the Rocket Mortgage classic in Detroit, he started off like 500 and he was on fire. And dude, it was like amazing. I thought off like three or four memes in a row of like him doing good. Because listen, I I want to balance it out too. Like, I want the bad win. Like, I think it’d be amazing, and I’d be the first person there to congratulate him. But like, again, like I got thousands of DMs of people like, dude, smiley 500, is this gonna happen? And like I did the Michael Scott meme where it’s it’s happening and got everybody going, and then smiley’s smiley’s armies come getting together. Smiley’s army. Um but dude, it was it was great, and then you know, he made the cut, got a check, but he kind of fell fell apart on the weekend. But I mean at the end of the day, like it’s it’s just fun in games. I mean, like Lee Westwood, tremendous player, done amazing things in his career. I know he’s a good guy, and made a few jokes about him not winning to major.
Yeah. So he went off. Yeah, so I posted a funny meme of uh McDonald like talking, and in the background there was this grassy mound, and I photoshopped Tiger looking over the mound, like in a small picture, and I said, Wow, 14 major championships in one picture. And this is before Tiger won.
And it went nuts because obviously the joke is neither one of them have won, and they’ve both been world number one, and obviously had amazing careers, played in a bunch of Ryder Cups and all that stuff. But dude, like Lee got on the page and commented, like, oh, real funny joke, you bloke, like you probably live in your mom’s basement and have a tiny penis, or you know, shut up. And I mean like here’s the thing you can go one or two directions here with this, and I’ll use two people as examples. Well three. Lee does that, and like I get it, dude. It’s probably shitty to see a message like that and or post, and you’re just like, you know, he’s real sensitive to that topic probably and wants to major more than anybody. And I g I get it, and so he’s pissed, and he writes that, and like, what does that do? Now I just want to make memes about Lee Westwood.
It’s fun. And it triggered all the followers, like, oh dude, do more Lee Westwood ones. Like, he’s pissed, you know. Oh yeah. And I’m not a 20-year-old kid, and I’m gonna try to be somewhat sure about some of this at a decent level, but like he triggered or he fired it up towards like I kind of want to do more of them. Um, the followers want more of them. The followers now kind of look at him as kind of an asshole, even though like I’m kind of maybe the asshole. And it’s just kind of bad play on his part, and then you got like guys like Bryson, uh DeChambeau, and you got Michelle Wee on the LPGA. Like, I’ve made tons of jokes about them.
They get on and yeah, they get on and they comment, they laugh, they DM me about it. Like, they’re cool. And like what’s cool is like I was gonna say, what’s cool about that is whether they like it or not, they’re doing a great job of like getting good engagement where people are like, oh dude, this person likes to laugh at themselves, or like they like to have fun, like they’re cool with this stuff, like good sport. And you see that with the followers, like they’ll comment back, and the behavior in the comments is like a 180. Like, if it’s someone gets triggered or doesn’t respond, you’ll see a lot of like negativity in the comments. And I I’m not trying to do that, I don’t want tons of negativity, but that’s just kind of what happens. But when you when they comment in or they get pot like they’re laughing about it themselves, you see tons of positivity and like, oh man, you’re the best. Like, I hope you win this week, you know, and it’s it’s cool to see that and like you know, and it gives them the ability to engage with some of these people who are just dying to have a piece of that.
Well, to your point, I think it helps like Ryson, I actually think it helps his it helps his uh perception across the more avid golf community band guy, right, and girl. I think it’s helped his perception because he is he is very engaged across all social media, but that includes even things that poke fun at us, right? And I think that that’s he’s he’s an adult about it, and he can laugh at himself and you know he’s he’s clearly got a good head on his shoulders, uh, knows Cabbie decently well. And so I think that he’s got a good head on his shoulders with all that to your point. But also, here’s what amazed me about Lee Lee Westwood. This guy, I don’t know if you do you know uh you have you ever watched any of Mark Crossfield stuff? No. Okay, so Mark Crossfield did a uh a um like a little mini, like I think it was like three or six whole competition, like one off one versus one against Lee Westwood. And Lee just trashed them every second. He was busting out these one-liners and you know, you know, you know, like literally just ragging them up and down the course while they’re playing, right? Yeah. Um, he and socky. And I was in my mind, I’m going, okay, so when I watched that, I was like, oh man, that’s you know, I’ve always had a negative perception thinking that he’s kind of, you know, maybe a little bit proud of himself is a nice way to say it. I’m like, oh I must be wrong. Look how funny and affable he is. And then this, and I’m like, oh, all of that has been crumbled to the ground.
You know, some people can dish it and some people in the same turn they can’t take it, right? So it’s it’s uh and listen, I get that way sometimes too. Like I can’t stand sometimes some of the comments people make on my posts, and like I’ve responded back to some people that have pissed me off, and you know, they’re like, Oh, you can dish it, but you can’t take it, and it’s like I sit back and like, alright, that’s probably a good statement, but at the same time, like there’s just certain things that are gonna trigger you, and like we all have our own lives and we all have our own problems, and who knows, man, like maybe you had a shitty day or a shitty week, and that post came up and he was just pissed, you know. And like the one thing that an unnamed player who I was targeting on a post um said to me was you don’t understand how many times it gets forwarded to them or they get tagged in it, and so when they open up their page messages.
Yeah, and it’s like I mean Is that where the uh stop sending me this stuff came from?
You do No, I don’t know who really started that trend, but I love it.
But at the end of the day, like imagine opening your phone and like you’ve got a thousand messages and like tags of something making fun of you. Like I mean, it probably pissed you off.
Right. Well, I think I think you need to do it about Andy Sullivan. I don’t know if you’ve ever done one with him. But I don’t think I don’t think I I’m not sure that I have, to be honest with you. Oh, dude, he’s he’s hilarious. Uh he’s got a couple of the cross-club videos and they trash each other. He can he can dish it and take it. He’s really funny. I think Tyrrell Hatton’s the other guy that is really funny.
He’s funny. I’ve made a few of him where he blows up and I’ve made one of like him the h as the Hulk with his photoshopped his face on it or losing his shit and like he laughs about it. He he’s he sent me a couple messages laughing. So he he can laugh at himself, which is cool.
Okay, so let’s go let let’s do a quick rundown. What’s the The meme that’s got the biggest attention ever. What was it?
Well, it was yesterday. Uh the the one I posted of the Masters. That’s obviously got the most traction. I most likes, most comments that I’ve ever had.
Um Yeah, well, I mean, listen, Mike, what’s funny, I was going back and forth with uh a buddy of mine that he posted the same thing about Nike releasing the snake skin.
Yeah, I thought that you commented on there. At least I could say I was first.
Yeah, D yeah, it’s DJ. And so he um yeah, so he posted and we were talking back and forth, and he’s like, Oh, you should do one about a player and stuff, and I was like, Oh, you know, I could, but that’s kind of thinking that’s the same same old stuff. And then I’m like, dude, what is one thing everyone wants to do but can’t do? Let’s go play it Augusta. So I just like created that, and it’s funny because like a lot of people probably thought it was real. But I mean, listen, if you’re following the meme page, it’s not real.
So I thought, hey, if we push the boundaries and it got to a million, maybe he gotta feel the pressure and be like, all right, let’s let these guys on, you know, but uh doesn’t look like we’re gonna get there or like eighty something thousand.
Yeah, it was a little shy of a million.
But my lowest likes were like 30 something, like maybe close to 40, and comments was like six thousand. And I think this is already like fifteen thousand comments and eighty-five thousand.
Yeah. Yeah, look at that right now. That’s insane.
Yeah, so so it’s funny, and like that’s the thing that like I like I love doing is like how can I create content that’s gonna go viral or get a lot of engagement, you know, like like do a funny meme. Like I did one the second post from the last where it’s like I need a wake-up call. So I’m like, hey, tag two friends who need a wake up call, you shouldn’t be hitting blades or whatever. And like I just know that’s gonna get a lot of people tagging people and they see it, they laugh, they they joke, poke fun at some of the guys that are in their group, and and go from there. And that that’s fun. I get a lot of satisfaction in that where I know that I’m adding an element of humor to their day or poking fun at their game, you know, and all that kind of stuff. Like it’s really for like the everyday amateur players, but one of the big things about my page is that I’ll actually incorporate a lot of like the pro golfers into it too, opposed to just making it about us.
Okay, what was the biggest the your biggest fail? What’s one that you put out there that you’re like, oh I just need to get rid of this. This is not good.
Man, um I don’t know, I haven’t had many that have just flopped, but I’ve I’ve just I’ve had some where, you know, you think are just gonna be awesome. Like you spend a lot of time photoshopping it or doing something and this is gonna be so freaking good. And then you do it and it it performs okay. Um Yeah, that’s my history with memes.
I’ve I’ve done a couple that you know where I’m like, this is really good, and it just bombs. So I was like, okay, not my not my cut.
I feel like it’s kinda like when it’s kinda like when Greg uh when my father tries to go get ready for his next round or he’s getting ready to play San Diego with me. Hashtag Schwartz. Sorry, I had to show that again.
Yeah. Our our buddy Greg Ryan has to every episode, Ryan’s gotta give him a dig.
Okay, there you go. God damn, huh?
Yeah, he had to he had to give me he almost made it through the last episode.
So I don’t know. I mean, there’s some that have flopped, and then there’s been some that like I just have made that I’m like um some of the my favorites are some of the collabs I’ve done with like Spon. I’m not sure if you guys follow Spon or For the Tour.
For the Tour. For the Tour does an amazing.
I love Before the Tour. Dude, that guy’s awesome. He lives in the East Coast, and we’ve started like exchange numbers and we’ll text about ideas and stuff, and you know, I’m not very I’m not good at all when it comes to like Adobe After Effects and making these videos. But he’s super talented with it.
So um honestly that’s something I’m gonna do like in the next year is try to go get some course training on that stuff because it’s just like next level memes, but like he’ll do that, and like I mean I’ve helped him get his page up to like twenty something thousand. He’s helped me with my page because I can get hit take his videos on my platform and share it and grow out. So it’s it’s been cool to do that, and like it’s fun to to collab and work with those guys. But some of my favorite memes are with Phil. Like, he’s just fun to like like you know, and oh I’m doing some I’m doing some work with Mizen in Maine right now, and they’re a fun company. I thought uh when they when they launched their stuff with Phil last year, it was just awesome how viral that all went. And so I did a fun I did like tons of fun memes about him wearing his you know shirt, but also like teeing off in the morning to go to work in the afternoon. And one of my favorites was um the rules of golf, like the Drake, the Drake meme. I just did Phil. Like I I I screenshotted his dance moves while he’s dancing in the video, and like he’s pointing at or he’s saying no to the rules of golf, and he’s saying yes to his like putting debacle that he did at Shinnecock. So funny. That was my favorite. I love and and it like he’s like very well-humored guy. Obviously, you’ve seen his social. Um, his brother follows the page, and he’s super interactive with it, which is awesome. But Phil unfortunately is not a follower yet, but I hope that he becomes one.
But we were we were talking our last episode about how amazing it’s gonna be when he hangs up the clubs and and goes and does some booth stuff. Uh could you I just imagine him in the booth? Oh. It’s gonna be like great.
Yeah. I I I think I also like I like the Justin Rose one that you do usually because he’s so um he’s so he’s so buttoned down and like you capture well.
You have to capture well. You have to do a Justin Rose meme in a Taco Bell uniform. You have to. You heard what happened, right?
So the the CEO that was formerly a Taylor Maid that left Taylor Maid to go run Hanma is now the CEO of Taco Bell.
Oh my gosh, are you serious?
Yes. So you have to do a Justin Rose in a Taco Bell uniform.
Taco Bell. I actually did. So what’s funny about Justin is, and I’ve met Justin at the Mapmasters in 2015. Actually, we hung out at the Taylor Mood House, and he’s like seriously such a cool dude. Um but what made me laugh about him, obviously the coming into this new season, he came in with all these new sponsors and it just felt like super like NASCAR driver-ish. And so I I made a funny meeting with him in a NASCAR uh uniform and had all the logos all over it and stuff. Because it’s like I mean, dude listen, the guy hit one one in the world, number one in the world and cashed in on all that stuff, so you know, kudos to him, but it was just kind of funny to see him transcend and become someone he ever has been, you know. Yep.
Well, and it’s funny because he you know, he’s really people forget he’s the same class. He’s really the same class as Tiger Woods. And and so I think a lot of times people forget that. Like they can’t they really were I think they’re actually the same age, aren’t they?
Yeah, they’re very close. Justin might be a year or two younger, but they’re right there.
Yeah, not much. But they yeah, but they were kind of coming through the same time and and going to the USAM at the same time and the the you know, the amateur rankings in in uh Britain and then also here. Um and I I just think I I love all that all that stuff. And I I think part of it is I think a lot of those guys laugh at themselves well. Some of them clearly don’t. Like Westwood. He clearly doesn’t laugh at himself very well.
Yeah, most of them are cool. I don’t know if you guys saw like my my interaction with Jason Day at the US Open was awesome. Like Ellie, his wife, follows the page and she’s super cool. Um yeah, and like so I’m at the Lexus hospitality place, and it was cool because everybody every three or four hours they had a new person come in and speak to the people that were there, and they had like Johnny Miller, who of course just talked about a 63 at Oak Mont like the entire time.
Uh Wesley Bryan was there, and he’s a cool guy. We we actually sat at the table with him during um Johnny and uh Jason’s presentation, so he’s he’s super cool. And then Jason went. And you know, they had like a line people to go get pictures with these guys afterwards, and I just I’m not like that. I don’t really ever like bother a celebrity or someone I see. Um but I was like, you know what, I want to just go talk talk to Jason. Because Dolly from Tailor made uh reached out to me like a month prior to that and was like, hey dude, Jason saw this last meme you did with him and he like loved it, like keep it up, you know. So I was like, oh I should just go talk to him. So I did, and he was like, Oh dude, I love your stuff. Like, and the first thing he said to me after that, he’s like, Roast me. I’m like, what? He’s like, No, seriously. He’s like, I don’t care, bring it on, I love it. I’m like, okay, dude. Like, oh, that’s so good. The only problem is is he’s really hard to make fun of, you know?
Oh, he’s such a nice guy, and he’s a family guy. Pretty great, plays good, and he, you know.
He gets injured a lot, I guess, and he had the vertigo stuff back in the day, but like it’s kind of hard to make fun of a guy. So I was just like, Well, I’ll try, but you’re not really making it easy on me.
You’re Australian. Uh that’s funny.
I well well, even with him, you know, somewhat uh on a slightly different topic, what I’m saying. So Ellie’s amazing. And this is you know, we talked about this last time we were on our la on our last podcast, just how interesting social media has how interesting it can be and how impactful it can be across communities and all that kind of stuff, right? And it’s like in our day and age, it’s almost like the news, right? Like so it’s saying, uh, you know, I post fun about it, you’re in my everyday life. But literally, like I’m on Instagram every day, and you’re on Instagram, I’m seeing your stuff. It’s like it’s become a part of my day. I get a few laughs from BGA memes, you know, and I get other things from other people obviously as well in there. But with Ellie, you know, I I know this is taking a different round than we probably want to go, but I’m gonna say it anyway. She’s amazing. She posted when she had her miscarriage about a year and a half ago. And my wife had actually just had a miscarriage at the same time. And it was unbelievable how transparent and authentic and real it was when she when she shared that. And I have my wife, my wife wasn’t not big into golf, really. You know, she’s uh a golfer’s wife, so she understands most of it, right?
She needs to talk to mine because mine doesn’t.
Yeah, well, I should say I should say she’s understanding of it, not you know. Um, but uh but anyway, but when I shared it with her, she was like, oh my gosh, she’s like, this is exactly what I needed I needed to hear. And you you know, you see things like that happen that really transcend whatever it is that you know where we’re getting the communication from, but but it becomes a little bit closer in and in community. I think that’s pretty powerful. But they’re a great they’re together as a family, they’re great to begin at all. I love it.
Yeah, no, they’re cool. And I mean listen, like that kind of stuff’s super challenging to go through, and you can use your platform for a lot of things, and you can obviously take that stuff and have every right to be extremely private, or you can share your experiences and stuff, and so that’s really cool because you know, obviously there’s so many people you can touch and and help get through those difficult situations and stuff. And listen, you can have all the money in the world and you can be in the spotlight, but you still go through adversity in your life, and there’s a lot of things that you can encounter, so it’s super super cool for them to be vulnerable to share that kind of stuff. But yeah, he’s a great guy, and so is she. She shared something too, I think, recently about how you know difficult or how how how little they they see or spend time with Jason, and you know, he has more pictures with fans than he does their family, you know, because they’re on the road so much. And if you if you drill down these tour guys or the guys on the web trying to make it or you know, all that stuff, like these guys it’s just it’s not some of it’s a lavish lifestyle for some of them, um when you make it, but it’s it’s tough. It’s grueling to be on the road.
Yeah, I got a I got a buddy who’s playing in the the Dakotas tour right now and and he’s been grinding for a couple years. He played here at UNLV and E Pacific and and that that is a lifestyle that not too many people are familiar with.
Yep. Yeah, it’s tough. The injuries are the injuries and stuff are real, and I’m worried that if Jason gets another injury, he’s gonna be the next AK. You know. And because I was worried before that he was gonna walk away. You know, and uh which would be sad for the game. I’m glad he’s still in it, but um, I hope he uh I hope he turns the corner.
Yeah, uh he he will. I think he will.
Okay, so what what’s a meme that sent you the biggest c the most controversy, the most hate mail, the most take that down, the most like negative bar.
Um I’ll use one that when it was in the beginnings and one just recently. So in the beginnings it was the Patrick Reed on top of the Empire State building taking a selfie. Like and I said and I said live look of Patrick Reed taking a picture with him and all his family or celebrating with all with all his family and friends.
And that one went nuts, and that was really one of the first big posts. And you know, it was funny, there were a lot of people on there defending him because it was just coming off the heels of the victory, and and listen, like winning the masters, you know, and where he’s actually from, right? He’s from Augusta, like that’s every child’s dream that wants to golf, and especially being from there. So like it’s kind of sad, like like taking something that’s so special and meaningful for someone and like using it for humor to fuel like everyone’s displeasure. Because I mean, for me, like Ricky Fowler is one of my favorite golfers. I love Ricky. And that was his masters, dude. Like he was right there, like the 17th flag like the flagstick freaking saved read. Like, if that if that didn’t hit the flag, Ricky probably goes to a playoff and he was on fire on that back nine, right? So it’s like so everyone’s just pissed, and I mean I was, and so and like you can just see everyone’s deflated, like it was like the biggest buildup and like the worst climax, you know.
So I just I just went to town on it, and I’ve had some interactions with Patrick Reed personally, and I have some people close to me who have too, and I just know he’s just an asshole. So I have no problem making fun of him. Um I have no problem making memes about him, and I don’t know his his wife’s sister, or I don’t know who it is, there’s someone who’s come at me a couple times, but it is what it is. Like he’s he’s one that I don’t care. He’s a dick. I’ll just I’ll make memes and joke about him all day long. But that one I got a little controversy, but that’s kind of when page really started taking off. One here recently was a meme of Brooks um on the course, and I photoshopped a noose and I said when Brooks preparing for the final round with JB Holmes. Yeah, right. You know, insinuating he’d rather hang him stuff than have to deal with the slow play.
And you know, I just got a lot of people that forwarded it to me. They’re like, that’s not cool, like that’s not appropriate, you know, like probably insinuating like like suicide, like maybe maybe they have someone in life that happened that happened to or you know, and and like that’s I’m not trying to like hurt anybody or like take it that far. It’s just kind of a joke that for the greater good, but you’re always gonna have someone that is triggered by something, you know, and so it is what it is.
But yeah, that was it it’s it’s funny because I look at it, and before that is the Johnny Miller with the Michael Jordan crying face, and after it is Shane Lowry and a Lucky Charms box, and I’m just I’m dying. It’s so funny. I pass that one over, I don’t even I don’t even care about it. Uh it’s funny.
But anything that you put out there what’s that? The the face app one as a follow-up to that, the face app one with him aging during the round that was gold.
So I actually will say this. Actually, I’ll I’ll rephrase my answer on one of my favorite memes. It was actually the one I just did about the face sap with Tiger. Oh, with I said face app to face saving lives, where he’s like, I’m gonna with my grandma. She’s like, send me a picture, and then I have Paulina H as the grandma.
I sent that to Ryan and I was like, This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on the internet.
Yeah, dude, it was so funny, and like I mean, I was just crying laughing at the end. Like, because it’s so funny. Like, it’s just like dude, it’s like, you know, guys are gonna get busted or sift around and it’s like, hey, I’m with grandma, and like it just was so funny. And it was funny that was Pauline too.
Well, but once again, but what but once again, I want to point out that wasn’t even the funniest part of it. The funniest part with your captions face after out here saving lives. No, for sure.
That’s the best part. Seriously. Absolutely.
Okay, so what what happened with Holly Saunders?
So obviously she destroyed herself with like 75 plastic surgeries, but that’s the first thing. Um I remember because I I said such a pretty girl, and like everyone’s like crushed and girl next door on on golf channel, right? And then she just slowly changed herself. And I’ve made a few memes on her, like I made one that was really funny about like six to eight months ago where it was like edited year by year. So like cute Holly at Golf Channel.
She’s Michael Jackson in 2020.
Yeah, and I did that where she became Michael Jackson, and that was super funny. It never caught her attention or she never said anything. And then the one I did was she just posted the weirdest stuff sometimes, right? And so there was this picture of her looking at herself in the mirror, and she looked confused. Maybe that’s just her new face, I don’t know, but she looked confused, and so on the meme I just put when you look in the mirror and don’t recognize who you’re looking at, or something like that. And of course, like it got forwarded to her or something a million times, so she’s on the comments, and listen, I don’t think the meme itself was actually that bad. Like, honestly, like it really wasn’t all that bad, and then I went back and looked at it. What it was was the comments. The comments were pretty bad, and I think like she went in and was just like commenting and defending herself, and there were a couple girls that commented on there that were vampir bigger influencers, and so she was like, Shame on you for being a woman in golf and blah blah blah. And so I I just like after like dude, she was going off, and so after about like three hours of it being up, when it saw enough eyes, I just archived the post. So I was like, Alright, you know, like I it is what it is, I don’t want to like cause problems or anything. So I DM’d her and just said, Hey, I’m sorry, I took down the post, I didn’t mean to like hurt your feelings or whatever, and she just she wrote back, she just said thank you, and that’s it.
So yeah, I I I remember I sent you IJ meme out here saving life.
Yeah, I mean listen, it’s funny and it’s true. Like, just listen, that’s her choice, she did it, and obviously the greater good is gonna sit there and say that she doesn’t look as good as she did.
Um I agree. Well, I I sent you the picture of her in in in Michigan and her now, and I was like, one of these hollies is not like the other, and and your response was like, is that the same person? You know, uh I was it’s just it’s just shocking, but yeah, it’s it’s a that’s a weird scenario. But yeah, yeah.
Yeah, so I mean listen, like it’s stuff like that that I’ll put out there that no one really will. And it’s um the platform’s big now, so it’s gonna get seen, you know. Like I’m sure like people who don’t follow the page see it. I mean, people are screenshotting it and sending it to them. And if the player doesn’t follow me, their wife does, or their girlfriend does, or their brother does, or you know, so I’ve noticed that. Like, dude, Matt Couture’s son was on one of my posts the other night defending his dad. I was like, I was like, whoa, like that’s crazy. You know, and I I commented back, I was like, dude, your dad’s actually one of my favorite players. I was like, just it’s just a joke, you know? But like it’s just like so there’s there’s eyes on all that stuff, and I try to be cautious of that, but at the end of the day, jokes are jokes need to be had.
So speaking of jokes needing to be had, okay, yeah, I I I kind of have a bone to pick with you. And that’s that uh so there’s this thing called Hythalot. I don’t know who made it, but whoever is is a realtor. He’s a dick.
Uh he is a dick. I can’t believe you’re I can’t believe you’re a victim of uh he’s not just a victim, he’s a three time victim. Oh wow. That’s insane. Yeah, so I started that page in like two thousand fourteen ish or so. Yeah. And that was just another thing where it was just a fun little deal. Like I had a really good friend who was a little older than us that always pranked people. And it was just the funniest thing in the world. Like we would video it and just laugh and laugh. And then he got hurt, like his back, and he got a back injury, and so he stopped golfing with us for a couple years. And I was like, man, I need to go buy one of those snakes. And so I bought a snake and we started getting some videos, and I kept like keeping him in my phone, but I wasn’t doing anything with him other than we just laugh at those videos and we’d send them to the guy. We s we pranked and laugh at him and stuff. But someone finally convinced me, like, did you just start a page and post those? Like those are hilarious. And like I really wasn’t very good at social media and didn’t have it. And so I was just like, alright, well, let’s do it. Like kind of walked me through it. We created the name Hiss a Lot that night, and like within like 90 days, I had like 2,000 followers, and I got on the golf channel, and like it was just crazy. And so that’s when it kind of I was like, wow. I I it was just like it it was still a hobby, but it just kept blowing up blowing up and got viral. And that page is kind of I mean, I’m still posting a few times a week and and so forth, but it’s kind of taking a backseat to what I’m doing now.
Well, yeah, because PJ memes is is so strong and has become, like I said, it’s it’s such a cultural, a golf culture thing now. Um, you know, very embedded inside our golf culture. But I’ll I’ll say personally, oh uh I used to live in Colorado and when I did uh when I was out there I went to this course and um there were uh king snakes are pretty popular out there, big old snakes. Um and they don’t really, you know, they’re not poison strength teams, which flipping huge. Right? Um and scary. And so anyway, I’m out there playing, I think it was like the 12th pole, and I’m playing with a couple of guys, one of which is a local there, and he was probably like in his fifties, something like that. And he tells me, he said, Yeah, he said, you know, we have some snakes around here, and I’d see one, and no big deal. Um he said that they’re you know, they’re uh a little bit, you know, just just be mindful. I think there’s some that are mating on these holes. And they he told me the wrong pole that they were mating on, or you know, whatever they’re doing. I don’t know if they made whatever they were there’s like four of them in two or three little babies. And so we’re gonna do the wrong hole. I go to the hole um that I didn’t know was actually the one where the spikes were, and I hit it just long on the tree. And just this course is there, uh there’s there’s about a foot tall worth of rough, maybe foot and a half, um, you know, just kind of tall grass right behind. So you can see your ball and you can hit it, but you gotta go crash the grass. So I do that. So I’m like literally like three feet into the grass, maybe. Um five, ten, ten feet, maybe ten yards most behind the green. Um, and I’m standing there uh and I’m I’m kind of doing my practice swings. I’m like, all right, I’m gonna go ahead and hit. And literally, as I bring the club back, I feel, I feel literally the ground I’m standing on is moving. Right? So I swung as fast as I could, and as I swung, I my head looked down and I see the head of the snake coming up. I freaking levitate it. The 55-year-old guy was like, I didn’t know someone as big as you could jump that far. Like, I literally, like like one swing motion and the like the momentum of between just carried my body as if like the club head was like holding me up to the uh pulling me up to the sky. He was like, head came out, the guy like Rose’s head, hit, and snapped at me. I pissed my pants. It was horrific. Right?
I’m a witness, I’ve I’ve seen him move that fast.
I’ve not had to deal with anything like that, and I’ve been blessed because I haven’t had to deal out of snakes, even though I’ve looked in bags for quite some time. Um, until all of a sudden recently, snakes just keep popping up everywhere. I don’t understand.
Like it’s Hey man, they they sense they sense your fear. Oh, that’s what it is. They 100% do. Um I mean it’s it’s just like the funnest thing now. The thing is with Hiss a lot, like w I’m planning actually like resurrect it to where like it’s still there and I’m still posting, but it it’s I’m gonna start focusing and resurrect that to where it’s it’s more prevalent and do more fun things with it. But it’s just like one of the coolest things. Like for me, I’m not a great golfer. I mean I can go out and play good at my good days and bad days, but um I like to go out and like enjoy the game and enjoy the camaraderie with my friends. And really I can’t think of much anything better than to like you know, I don’t ever like there’s a few times where I’m like, hey, I’ve got a full force of guys that are going out, but usually it’s about with another friend or two other friends. So we’ll get paired with a single or two other people. So it’s just perfect to put the snake, you know, out there and scare somebody and it breaks the ice. It’s just so fun to see, like the reaction. And like it’s something that you can’t just just do. Like you have you there’s a method to the madness, and you know, you’ve got it sounds like some Yeah, you you gotta prep it, you gotta put the feelers out. So if I’m a friend here, we’ll go all the time golf and we’ll always try to find victims, and I’ll I’ll say, Hey, like, there’s tons of snakes on this course. Like, holy cow, we were out here yesterday and I saw like Yeah, and so one guy’s like, Oh, I chop off copper heads heads all the time in our backyard, and I’m like, Okay, not gonna get that, you know. Right. So, and then the other guy, you know, is like, oh my gosh, I would lose my shit if I saw a snake, you know, and I’m like, okay, that’s it. And so you can’t you can’t put the snake on the near side of where you’re walking towards the cart, you gotta put it on the opposite side, so you gotta wait to see where you’re parking the cart along the green, and you gotta have your phone on you, and you gotta like, you can’t just hold your phone out like an idiot like you’re recording it. You gotta like pretend like like for me, I’ll start filming it way early and keep the film going. Because some of the best videos aren’t actually the prank, it’s the aftermath, you know, like the scream and the run, and then it’s fun to see like the whole group laughing. So like you gotta keep the film going. And so I’ll like have my phone out and I’ll be like, oh, gotta respond to all these stupid emails or whatever. And so they think I’m like actually responding to an email, so they’re not like, Why do you have your phone out? And then when they turn their head and put their driver in the cart or the cutter in the and the bag or whatever, they see the snake and I’m ready to go, and I’ve got great footage, and obviously you can just edit it afterwards, right? But it’s just you gotta have a little method to it, but man, those videos are super fun.
Well, it went it went full circle for me because my son uh my son has come out now for the second time to our men’s skins game at uh skins games at Las Vegas Funch Club. And this time one of my idiot member friends um thought it would be a great idea uh to give my son their hits a lot.
And we were on, I think, the second hole, and they coached him. They were like, hey, go put it over here. My son’s five, right? So they’re like, hey, go put it over here. This is what you need to do. I came back to the cart, I swear I almost like I almost broke my putter trying to hit that stupid snake. I lost it. And my son just was rolling. He thought it was the funniest. And he’s standing over there with the members, and I’m like watching my future. I’m like, this, what just happened? This is horrible. Is this on video? Uh I think Rudy Video, I’ll I’ll grab it. Rudy Video, I think. Uh that’s that’s that’s cool. It’s pretty it was pretty funny, yeah. I’ll I’ll try and I’ll try and clip it off.
But it would be a good idea. I mean there’s tons of people who just there’s some people that just do it and they don’t video it. So it’s like, dude, I’ll just do it in the moment. I don’t care, you know, and it’s it’s easier to do it without filming and stuff, but yeah, those videos are just so funny to see. I mean, we’ve gotten some you don’t that page never really picked up on the pro golfer side. I think like Kisner and like maybe another person follow it, there’s not many. Um but like it’s really big in like the NFL and the NBA and stuff. So like a lot of those guys who golf like us for fun.
Yeah, they’re not out there like no music and not having fun, but they’re out there, you know, maybe they have a cocktail or you know, maybe they’re you know shooting 85, you know, like they don’t care. Like, so they’re they love the snake, and so they’ll they’ll they’ll they like will hit me up, like, hey, send me one of these. Like I Darren Williams lives here in Dallas, and like he’s got a snake and he’s done some fun pranks. Golden Tate does a ton of them.
Um yeah, I’ve been golden, yeah.
Yeah, he’s he’s good. Chris Lane, country music uh singer, he’s he’s doing a ton now. Um you’ve got I mean it’s just like guys like that, like Dick Dak Prescott’s here in Dallas, he asked for once. I sent it to him and he did a ton of pranks in the locker room, you know. So it’s it’s cool to see that. Like you’re not seeing any pro guys do it, because that’s just not I don’t know, they like just take it too seriously.
Yeah, well well that’s why but I also think that’s why PDA memes have exploded, right? Is because you talked about the very beginning, like when you get that interaction from them, and because they’re not you know, a lot of the NBA players, those guys, like you said, they’re not running your attempt. These guys, most of them are kind of gals both. Um they probably get because they’re in interaction, I think it very much makes it more real. But I I agree with you. The on the the recreational side, it’s so fun. It it’s become such a fun thing.
And even though I’m usually the one prank, I get over it and listen, there’s a lot of many people out there that are more afraid of snakes than me. Like it’s like I’ve been scared of the hisselot snake in my golf bag probably a hundred times because like I’ll like not use it for six months. I don’t have to really do pranks anymore. I get so many sent to me, right? So I golf and I gotta get content. I get it sent to me every single day, so it’s easy. But um I uh I’ll just reach in that bag of that zipper in my bag that I haven’t got into in like three or four months, and I’ll see a freaking rattlesnake looking at me and I’m like, holy shit! Like I get scared, and I’m like, oh yeah, I forgot I miss a lot. Oh yeah, okay, my bad.
Any anybody filming this? Anybody filming this? Too funny. Well man, hey, I I really appreciate you taking the time uh to get on with us and chat. It’s it’s been a you know, like Ryan was saying, uh every day you’re involved in our lives, whether it whether or not you know it or not. But I mean it it’s every single day I I bring up your feed and look through the memes, and even the older ones, I’ll scroll through and just I laugh and it it brings it brings a lot of joy to me. On you’re having a bad day, you can just bring up your account and flip through it, and it’s it’s a blast to to go through. So just keep rocking it, keep going it, and hey, uh punk us. Yeah. Do us.
Well, punk Mac. I’ve been punked enough. You know, but real quick on a serious note, uh, so you’re in you’re um you’re out in Texas, so one course one course week that we have to play well when we go to Texas. Give me one course.
Man, that’s tough. You know, I like courses. Yeah. Public courses, I I like going to play Cowboys Golf Club. It’s it’s it’s one of the more expensive clubs here, but what’s great is if you time it correctly, you get all your food uh comped and your drinks comp, not alcohol, but like sodas and water and data raids and stuff. So if you go and you tee off at like one o’clock, you can get your lunch free and the food’s great. And then you go play your round of golf, and it’s gonna be like 150, um, 175. And then all the stuff on out on the course is free, um, cart girl, and there’s two turnstands, and then you come back and you can have a dinner for free. And nice like so we I went there with yeah, so I’ve I’ve gone there with some buddies, and it’s just like it’s a good thing to do, and the course is always in super great shade. That’s a great public course, and then private course. Um, Merido and Carrollton is awesome. I played there with with Darren Williams once, and it’s like the hardest course. He’s had the luxury of playing like all over the place, and he insisted on playing from the tips, which is not good for my game. It’s not big up for tea. But uh, dude, he told me he’s like, this is like the second hardest course I’ve ever played besides Oakmont. He goes, This course is so hard. And I’m like, oh, really? Okay, okay. And then I played it, and I’m like, dude, this guy’s spot on. Because I’ve I’ve had the benefit of playing a lot of courses all over the place, and that place was super tough. But I’m actually playing Trinity Forest this weekend. Oh, nice. Um with a couple of the guys from SMU. Yeah, I’ve you know, I walked the course a little bit at the Byron, and it’s just a different feel for the Byron because I’m used to it being here at four seasons, but it you can tell it has that mystique of like it’s it’s I don’t know, it’s hard to say because people probably laugh at me saying this, but we walk there and you see it’s just it’s big and it just has that feel of like where a major would be played or like a rider cup. Like I know there probably never will be one, but it looks like a course like that, you know, and so it’s yeah, so it’s big, it’s long, it’s open. So yeah, so I’m you know I’m interested in like what’s it what’s so hard about it, right?
What you just said is what’s so hard. Like all all all three of them we’ve played it pretty you know quite a bit and are good players. They’re just like you you almost don’t know where to hit it because it’s like everything’s so massive, right?
Yeah, you’re gonna get a lot of that links. Yeah, you’re gonna get a little of that links style, and I love playing links because like part of me is like I can get more length off the T on that for me, and I can also get creative with some shots, which I think could make Scolf fun. Um so yeah, I’m excited to go play that, and we’re gonna play it with a couple of the SMU guys, so they’ll maybe give us a little bit of the course knowledge and you know, have some fun there. But Dallas is a fun place to play golf, but you know, you’re gonna get a lot of wind and all that stuff, so it kind of changes the elements a little bit, but it’s just it’s all it’s all good times unless it’s a 110 degrees, which you guys are familiar with.
Oh yeah, it’s a dry heat. It’s a dry heat. Um how’s the the putting green working for you?
Dude, it’s awesome. Like, so in the escapes put it in, and Preston’s like incredible. Like he he grew up with his dad working for Arnold Palmer, so it was so cool, like when they were here, like hearing all the awesome stories about Arnie and just all the stuff. So it was it was cool with his that experience alone, but and having that out there, I know you’ve had you have one, I’ve seen you putting on yours for now a few years, but like it’s just cool to like go out there and putt and chip and it’s therapy that it’s so house.
It’s my therapy. It’s you know, the the the kids drove me crazy today, and and I’m just done, and they go to bed, and then I can go out there and it’s therapy. It’s practice and it’s therapy at the same time.
No, it is, it’s cool, and you know, if you’re hosting people over and stuff, like you know, I’ve got bistro lights and stuff out there, it’s a small, like odd space. Like there’s this like side little area, and like when I bought the house, it was all gravel. I’m like, this doesn’t make any sense, like this is stupid. So I mapped it out and got four holes, and it’s you know, it’s like you can go out and take a bunch of full swings or do anything crazy, but it’s like, man, I I can go out and do what you say. It’s therapy, it’s practice, and it’s it rolls at like a ten and a half, and you know, he put a lot of slope and contour in it, so like you know, I feel like he you know made it a lot pr a lot more difficult than it needed to be, but it’s a it’s a test of you know make me better.
Nice. Nice. Well, again, man, thank you so much for coming on. Uh, we really appreciate it. Everybody, if you’re not following, which it’s ridiculous if you’re not, because I mean, good grief, you’ve got close to 400,000 followers, so everybody’s following. But if you’re not, make sure to hop on Instagram, PGA Memes. Um, you also have some shirts that you’re selling through short short uh par four. Is that who it is?
Yeah, we’re just putting some memes on tees, which I think is fun. I’ve seen a lot of guys just wearing cool, funny shirts at golf tournaments and stuff. So I just figured like, hey, why don’t we bring that to light and the free golf line of this?
Yeah, so it’s it’s you know, it’s just kind of some fun stuff with it. You know, there’s a lot of people that are asking for stuff like that. And there’s some fun stuff that I plan and want to do here coming soon to like really have fun with the page. Like, I don’t really care to monetize the page too much like some people would like to make a living out of it. I just want to like have fun with it and do things that I like and I’m passionate about. So, you know, I’m trying to build a roadmap of what that looks like through this year, and you know, hopefully in 2020, some of that comes to light and some people can see it.
But it’s content original as well, too.
Oh yeah, that’s not gonna be a problem. Don’t worry about that.
So well, here’s so I I traditionally do an Easter egg, and it I’m glad you said that you are working with Bobby and the short part four guys. So I’ll I’ll do a little Easter egg here, Matt. Okay.
Uh Ryan’s Easter eggs, here we go.
First person to tag right hashtag Ryan’s Easter Drag. So first person to uh tag uh Chasing Daylight Podcast on the uh Tiger Woods meme, uh Tiger Woods and uh Paulina meme, and uh and what should we have in hashtag? Uh hashtag Lee Westwood on that.
So hashtag Lee Westwood and tag uh in the comment and and in the same comment, tag chasing daylight, and you’ll get a short parkour hat.
Nice. Nice. So that’s the that’s the Tiger Woods with uh Paulina Grandma. I love that. There you go. That’s so good. So hashtag Lee Westwood, tag chasing daylight podcast in it, and uh Ryan will uh we’ll all send you.
I’m horrible at sending things. So anyway, we gotta let this guy go.
Travis, so much. Hey, again, thank you so much. We really appreciate you coming on. 10 episode in the books, and uh keep doing what you’re doing, man. We absolutely love it.
